WASHINGTON COUNTY, Okla. — With the New Year’s holiday quickly approaching, the Washington County SPCA is helping out to make sure your pets don’t get lost when the fireworks start.

The organization is offering $10 microchipping today from 12:30 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. for your pets. They say no appointment is required.

The event will take place at their headquaters located at 16620 State Hwy 123 in Bartlesville.

Aside from getting your pet microchipped, they also advise to update your microchip information if it is outdated, keep your pet indoors during fireworks, and to double check gates, fences, and doors to make sure they are secure.
