Tulsa police were called to the scene of a crash near Admiral and Hwy. 169 around 8:00 Tuesday morning.

Officers say a 69-year-old lady was crossing the street when a 16-year-old driver in the left lane never saw the woman.

Investigators on the scene say the driver couldn’t see the woman because the sun was shining in her eyes.

The teen driver stayed on the scene to talk with police and no foul play is suspected.

Police said the driver even attempted CPR on the woman before medics arrived.
