Will Rogers Stampede coming to Claremore May 26-29

CLAREMORE, Okla. — The 76th Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo is just around the corner. This year’s rodeo will be held May 26 through May 29 at Stampede Park in Claremore.

The six-time Small Rodeo of the Year takes place on Memorial Day weekend and offers something for the whole family. Events include bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, mutton bustin’, rodeo clowns and much, much more!

Do not miss the opportunity to see cowboys compete in steer wrestling, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and other exciting rodeo events.

Joining the Stampede this year are members of the Oklahoma Rodeo Royalty! These ladies will join the committee members at the Boots on the Boulevard on May 26 in historic downtown. In addition to selling tickets for the Stampede, the ladies will autograph pictures and visit with the crowds.

Miss Rodeo Oklahoma 2022-Anna Woolsey

Anna Woolsey is the 21-year-old daughter of Chris and Morgan Woolsey from Skiatook, Oklahoma. She is a graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M college where she earned her associates in Managerial Business. Anna was on scholarship for the equestrian team where she was a Reserve National Champion her freshman year and High Point Rider of the region sophomore year. She was qualified individually in the reining and horsemanship and was the team rider for reining and horsemanship going into semifinals her sophomore year, as well. Anna transferred to Oklahoma State University this past semester where she is majoring in interior design. Anna competed in her first queen contest when she was 13 years old where she won Skiatook Princess. She then went on to win Miss ACRA and Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen 2017. She grew up showing reining horses under the guidance of her father. She was a finalist at the AQHYA World show in the ranch riding, 6th in the nation for the American Quarter Horse Association in the ranch riding, a multiple American Buckskin Horse Association world and reserve world champion; and is a multiple year end winner in the ranch riding, reining, and working cow horse boxing for the OQHYA.

Along with being an active member of the AQHA, she is an active foster for the Skiatook Paws and Claws animal rescue. She volunteers her time at adoption events and has fostered out over 300 dogs since the age of 17. Rescuing and fostering dogs is a big part of Anna’s life. Anna’s motto is, “every time we foster, our hearts break a little so theirs never have to again.”

Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen 2022-Myranda Kistler

Myranda Kistler has grown up in Rogers County and lives in Claremore. Myranda is the 15-year-old daughter of Ty and Tanna Peverley and Daniel and Vicki Kistler. Myranda enjoys horseback riding, barrel racing, and learning to breakaway rope. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is a sophomore at Verdigris High School, where she is an honors student. Myranda aspires to become a cosmetologist, and later become a neonatal nurse. Myranda is also a member of the Choctaw Nation.

As a member of the Nowata and Will Rogers Round Up Clubs, Myranda enjoys many horse and rodeo activities. Myranda has enjoyed representing the American Cowboys Rodeo Association as their first Jr. Miss in 2020 as various rodeos during the pandemic. Myranda was also the 2019 Miss Rooster Days Rodeo Teen, and the 2021 Miss Nowata Round Up Club Queen.

Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Princess 2022-Dalli Moore

Proud to call Oklahoma her home, Dalli Moore hangs her hat in Oologah, with her parents Jerry and Kelli Moore on the family ranch that her late great grandad Moore started in 1952, where they are still raising beef cattle. She is the youngest child with two older brothers and two older sisters. Dalli is in the 8th grade at Oologah-Talala Public School and is on the Middle school basketball team, track and field, FFA and she loves to cook. Dalli is a member of the Cherokee Nation. She is proudly a member of the Oologah Mustang Round-Up Club where Dalli is actively involved and enjoys everything rodeo. Dalli is a member of the BBR. Her passion is barrel racing, goat tying and breakaway roping.

The western way of life was something she was born into; this cowgirl was horseback with her daddy before she could walk as she rode along with him gathering cattle in the pasture. Her family legacy developed her knowledge and passion for rodeo & the western world. As a family they truly love to travel and rodeo. Dalli wants to thank everyone for their love and support in allowing her to follow her dreams.
