The availability is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
“Our school summer program teams are so excited to welcome students back to campus in July for a second summer of fun and learning,” said Superintendent Deborah A. Gist.
Dr. Gist continued, “While each program will create its own unique summer program, every learner will have opportunities to build strong relationships with caring adults and with their peers, maintain access to a variety of supports they receive during the school year, and engage in hands-on learning through academic support and enrichment activities like arts and culture, health and wellness, team building and leadership, and much more.”
TPS will host two information sessions on Monday, April 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hawthorne Elementary School and on Saturday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Spanish at Disney Elementary School. These sessions aim to provide families with the opportunity to learn more about summer programming, according to their statement.
