Walmart’s ‘breakup bear’ is there for you this Valentine’s Day

Sure, Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love and relationships, but if you are on the other side of the coin this year, Walmart has something that may make your day a bit easier.

If you are trying to end a relationship this Valentine’s Day and just can’t find the words, the retailer is selling a stuffed bear who seems happy to help.

The bear, dubbed the “breakup bear” by some on social media, holds a broken heart with the word “love” split in two while wearing a shirt that reads, “Bye Bye!”

Harsh? Sure. But, according to Walmart, “It is cuter than a breakup text.”

The bear, which sings and dances to the *NSYNC classic “Bye Bye Bye”, lists for $16.98.

Walmart describes it as a “perfect” present, saying “This bear is ready to wish your someone special a Happy Valentine’s Day!”
