The recall affects cars from 2016 through 2018 with 1.4-liter engines. The cars were built from June 18, 2015, through Dec. 9, 2017.

The company said bolts that hold high-pressure tubing can loosen and allow fuel to leak, the AP reported.

Drivers can smell a fuel odor if the system is leaking.

A repair hasn’t been developed yet, but owners will start being notified in mid-December.
