The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release that officers arrested Robert Salone on murder charges on Nov. 22.

Christopher Allen called the police on Oct. 18 and said that someone was shooting at him, KVVU reported. While on the phone, the dispatcher heard another man’s voice in the background say “(expletive) enjoy it” before an apparent gunshot.

In an arrest warrant obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Allen said, “He shot me! He shot me! I can’t feel my legs! I can’t feel my legs!” while on the phone with the dispatcher. Officers who responded to the home found Allen dead from a gunshot wound to his chest.

Prior to the shooting, Allen had been working on his car with another neighbor, Allen’s girlfriend told KLAS. The car was blocking a neighbor’s driveway as a result.

Witnesses told police that Salone was yelling at Allen and the other neighbor to move the car, and that Allen said he would move the car in a few minutes, and held up a tire iron he had been using to work on the car, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. Salone allegedly retrieved two handguns from his home and began shooting at Allen before fleeing the scene.

Salone was arrested and denied bail. He is due back in court on Nov. 29.
