According to a Facebook post by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia, Johnny Shane Brown, 51, and Albert Lee Ricketson, 31, were apprehended in Rogerstown in nearby Hawkins County.

The two men escaped from the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon on Thursday at about 2:45 p.m. EST, WJLA-TV reported.

They were found about 4 miles from where the stolen gold Cadillac SUV they had been driving was found by police, WBDJ-TV reported.

Brown and Ricketson were discovered in the upstairs section of a barn in Rogersville, police said.

Brown, who is a federal prisoner, and Ricketson, convicted on two counts of murder, will be held in separate prisons without bail, police said.
