Three arrested in cellphone store robbery

Three people were arrested for grand larceny Thursday afternoon.

TULSA, Okla. — According to police, Jacob Lord, Jessica Truelove, and Patrick Reed were arrested for armed robbery after stealing cellphones from a cellphone store near East 41st Street and South Sheridan Road, Thursday evening.

Three people were arrested for grand larceny Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery with knives at the cellphone store around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

When officers arrived, they learned that three suspects entered the store and used knives to cut the security wires connected to demo phones in the store.

The employees at the store were able to provide a good description of the suspects and the getaway car.

Police saw the getaway car near South Memorial Drive and East 27th Street and followed it until the driver pulled the car over at a nearby convenience store.

Three people were arrested for grand larceny Thursday afternoon.

After investigation, police said that the crime was going to be grand larceny because the suspects did not use their weapons to take the phones by force.

The crime was escalated to grand larceny because the value of the stolen phones was over $2,000.

All three were arrested and booked into the Tulsa jail.
