TULSA, Okla. — To celebrate Israel’s 74th Independence Day, the Jewish Federation of Tulsa hosted a “Taste of Israel” festival.
The festival took place at the the Jewish Federation of Tulsa, near 71st S and Lewis, and lasted until 3:30 p.m.
There was Israeli food, live music, activities, and a recreation of an Israeli market.
“We’re actually trying to create an immersive experience with an educational market, so at each booth you can learn a piece of Israel,” said Chen Shoval, an Israel emissary in Tulsa.
Visitors could also experience all exhibits at the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art on campus.
