Suspects in Tulsa’s third homicide arrested in Texas

TULSA, Okla. — According to an affidavit acquired by FOX23, Lilie Crawford and Rashawn Graham were arrested in Little Elm, Texas on charges unrelated to Tulsa’s third homicide.

The affidavit states that police were called to an apartment complex near Pine and Harvard around 9:00 Tuesday morning where they discovered Nickolas Norwood dead on the living room floor of his apartment and had been shot multiple times.

A neighbor told police that he heard the shots around midnight the night before and text Norwood, but called police the next morning when no response was sent.

The affidavit says messages from Norwood’s phone showed that he and Crawford set up a drug deal “involving a large sum of money” the day before.

It says detectives used surveillance video, phone records and interviews to come to the conclusion that Crawford’s brother, Rashawn Graham, was with her during the planned drug deal at Norwood’s apartment. Detectives believe a robbery happened and that’s when the shots were fired killing Norwood.

Graham and Crawford were arrested on Jan. 13 near Dallas in Little Elm, Texas on unrelated marijuana and gun offenses.

After the arrests, Tulsa homicide detectives went to Texas to interview the suspects, then today Tulsa County prosecutors charged both suspects with Felony Murder and Robbery with a Firearm.

The two will be extradited to Tulsa at a later time.
