Police searching for additional suspects in shooting, robbery at north Tulsa apartment

One suspect is in custody after a man is shot several times

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police say a man was shot while trying to defend himself after thieves broke into his apartment.

Police responded to a shots fired call at the Comanche Park Apartments near East 36th Street North and North Peoria Avenue on Saturday night just after 8 p.m.

When they got there, they say they found a man bleeding from his stomach with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the suspect, David Lockett, broke into the victim’s apartment and when the victim pulled a gun, Lockett shot him.

According to the arrest report, the victim was shot at least five times.

Lockett was arrested and booked into Tulsa Co. jail on complaints of robbery and shooting with intent to kill.

Police say they’re looking for two accomplices, Elrico Ackerson and Cartrecia Ruff.
