A 35-year-old man and a 2-year-old boy are unharmed, despite being thrown from a boat Friday evening on Lake Texoma.
The incident happened about 1/2 mile north of the shoreline, at the Johnson Creek Recreation Area.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol say a boat operated by Eric Henry exploded in about 42 feet of water. The explosion threw Eric and Huck Henry into the water.
They were rescued by another boater, as they attempted to swim to shore. Both were said to be wearing floatation devices.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
