The Mueller investigation has cost taxpayers roughly $26 million, but they could get a lot of that money BACK.
USA Today reports that's because the combination of fines and property seizures from the targets of the Mueller probe, most notably former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, could total close to $29 million.
Most of that is from Manafort's pricey houses and apartments.
The paper reports some banks are also looking to get a cut.
And the Trump Tower condo board says Manafort owes them unpaid condo fees.
