TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police were called to the scene where a man was shot in the stomach on Tuesday night.
Around 10 p.m. a man called 911 to report he’d been shot on South 96th East Avenue, near 31st and Mingo, in east Tulsa.
Tulsa police said the shooting victim and shooter appear to be neighbors.
The shooting victim said he kicked the shooter’s head.
When officers got to the scene they they found a Hispanic man in his sixties that had been kicked in the head and said he did not know what happened.
Officers found the victim had been shot once in the stomach.
Tulsa police say it appears a fight took place between the shooting victim and shooter who had been kicked.
The investigation is ongoing and both men are being treated at local hospitals.
