Man shot in the leg, one woman arrested in north Tulsa shooting

TULSA, Okla. — A suspect is on the run after shooting a man in the leg at the Edenwood Apartments near East Apache Street and North Peoria Avenue, Wednesday around midnight.

Tulsa police arrived to find the victim laying on the couch of the apartment room where the shooting happened, but the suspect had already fled by the time officers got to the scene.

Police made a felony arrest of one woman who was in the same apartment room where the shooting happened, but TPD says the arrest was not connected to the shooting.

According to police, the woman attempted to run away but officers were able to catch her and make the arrest.
