Young daughter grabs gun after her mother is allegedly threatened

An 8-year-old girl may have saved lives on Monday, when a man allegedly threatened to kill her mother.

We're told Mark Easky and his wife got into an argument at a home in Skiatook.  During this time,  he threw a candle holder and a cell phone at her.

Tulsa deputies were told the incident escalated from there.  Easky reportedly threatened his wife.

"The victim said that Mark Easky told her he was going to get his gun and make her sorry by killing her," a deputy said.  "Mark Easky also told her that no one would care about her."

There was at least one person who cared about her.

Deputies say the daughter retrieved the gun from where it was kept and she and her mother escaped.  As the mother was leaving, Easky allegedly threw a pickle jar at her.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they spoke with Easky.  After hearing about his reported threat, Easky spontaneously stated "he was a convicted felony [felon] and could not own a gun."

Easky does have a felony conviction out of Osage County.

He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail and has since bonded out.
