Broken Arrow Schools had the 'topping out' ceremony for their latest grade school, putting the highest girder in place on the building, which is under construction near 101st street and the Creek Turnpike.
It's scheduled to open in the Fall of 2020.
Michelle Bergwall with Broken Arrow Schools says this will be the 16th grade school for Broken Arrow.
“We continue to grow at about 2 to 3 percent per year, which means we grow about three to four-hundred students per year,” Bergwall said.
That's translates to a new school every two years or so.
Grade school number 16 doesn't have a name yet.
They'll invite parents and students to help them choose one, once they know which neighborhoods are in the school's boundary lines.
