Woman charged with assault, battery with a deadly weapon

Tulsa, Okla. — Charges are filed against a woman for shooting a man in the chest on I-244.

Officers arrested Ashley Ellis last Wednesday after police say she shot the victim outside their vehicle near Memorial.

We're told she and the man were arguing before the shooting.

The man was taken to the hospital in serious condition and survived.

Ellis is charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
