TULSA — The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for Osage and Pawnee counties until 7pm Tuesday.
Forecaster say freezing rain and drizzle will be capable of producing significant icing.
Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7pm Tuesday for Washington, Nowata, Creek and Okfuskee counties.
Travel conditions could impact the evening and morning commute in Tulsa as the temperature hovers right around freezing.
Police say there was a non-injury crash on NB Hwy. 169 near 51st St. Monday morning.
PSO reported more than 1,000 outages by Monday afternoon across the area.
