Some good may still come out of two different fires that caused almost an entire block in downtown Wagoner to burn.
The historic Pioneer Building that used to house Owl Drug, now sits empty with the other damaged properties on the block. That may not be the case for too much longer.
Mayor Albert Jones says they are looking to turn the location into a brewery.
“It would be a watershed moment because the quality of life could be greatly improved as an entertainment district down here,” Jones said.
It wouldn't be the first time alcohol is sold their. The building was the first establishment in Native American territory that could legally sell alcohol.
Any interested brewers are encouraged to contact the city of Wagoner.
