Tulsa police tell us the officers were involved in a traffic stop just after 3:30 AM Monday morning near 21st and Memorial. Police confirm the suspect, David Ware, is now in custody.
Investigators found and arrested Ware, who has a long criminal record, near 33rd and Garnett.
Police believe Ware opened fire after struggling with the two officers, then ran away. We’re told both officers are in critical condition at this time.
