Two brave children escape from attempted abduction

KRMG has learned two kids are said to be okay following an attempted abduction in Catoosa this week.

The incident happened on Wednesday, after the children got off the bus.  Rogers County officials report two middle school kids were walking home, when a maroon SUV approached them and the driver wanted them to get into the car.

That didn’t happen.  Instead, the kids tried to run, but the SUV cut them off.

So, the children ran through a gate by their home and let out their pet pit bull.  This caused the suspects to drive away.

The male suspect is said to have long dark hair and a dark beard.  Investigators were told the woman had a deformed face.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office.
