Tulsa police catch person of interest in two homicides

TULSA — Police took a person of interest into custody about 3 a.m. Monday and found a handgun in the truck he was driving near Admiral and Memorial.

Investigators from western Oklahoma are questioning Gregory Killough in connection with the deaths of two people that authorities believe are connected.

The Beckham County Sheriff's Office says Killough is a person of interest in separate weekend homicides in Sayre and Elk City.

The investigation began when a person was killed Sunday morning in Elk City.

Later Sunday, authorities found the body of another homicide victim in Sayre.

Details about the slayings and the victims' names have not been released, but police believe the deaths are related.
