Tulsa’s Philbrook Museum launches #PhilTheGaps program

Philbrook is rolling out four new initiatives as its own doors are closed to #PhilTheGap.

First, the museum will contribute 10 percent of all membership dollars to the Tulsa Area COVID-19 Response Fund put together by the Tulsa Area United Way and Tulsa Community Foundation.

Second, Philbrook plans on seeding its own Victory Garden to add to the food they can donate to local food banks. They’ll also be putting together instructional gardening videos to help people make their own produce at their homes.

They’ll also be working to keep supporting artists by paying for original digital content and find additional platforms for them to use. Philbrook is launching an emergency response online marketplace to help artists sell their work -- with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the artists.

Lastly, they’ll be churning out content such as artist interviews, podcasts, live performances, and more on their social media pages.
