Tulsa Health Department now offering COVID booster shots

TULSA, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Tulsa Health Department is now offering Pfizer’s COVID-19 booster shot.

The single-dose booster has been authorized by the FDA and CDC.

Those who are eligible include anyone 65 and older, anyone from 18 to 50 with underlying medical conditions, and those 18 to 64 who are at an increased risk of COVID exposure due to their job or institutional setting.

The booster dose must be given at least 6 months after your second shot from the first series of vaccinations.
