TULSA — UPDATE: KRMG has learned that police have arrested Jennifer Kunzweiler, the adult daughter of Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler, in connection with an incident of domestic violence in which both father and daughter were injured and taken to area hospitals.
Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin Tweeted out confirmation of the arrest shortly after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Both Kunzweilers are expected to fully recover from the injuries suffered during the incident.

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler was injured in a stabbing, his office and police confirmed.
Tulsa police responded to the stabbing at Kunzweiler’s home around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the DA’s office, Kunzweiler was awake and talking when he was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Kunzweiler’s office released the following statement:
“Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler was allegedly stabbed more than once by an adult family member on Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Kunzweiler was immediately taken to the hospital by emergency services. All relevant police authorities are aware of the situation and are conducting their investigations presently. Mr. Kunzweiler was awake and talking on the way to the hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries. The entire Kunzweiler family would appreciate your prayers and concerns as they go through this struggle. They would also appreciate your concern for their privacy at this time.”
Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum released the following statement:
“District Attorney Kunzweiler is a courageous public servant, and I think the world of his family. Our family’s prayers are with them tonight.” Bynum said.
