Tulsa carhop punched, robbed by two customers

A carhop at the Sonic drive-in near 31st and 129th East Avenue is sore after being robbed by two customers.

Tulsa Police Corporal Jeff Edwards tells us two black males approached the restaurant on foot and ordered some food about 10:45 last night.

"When the carhop came out to deliver the food one of the black males punched the carhop in the chest. They each grabbed their food items and then ran off to the east into the Ashwood apartments. One of the customers gave chase."

Edwards says the suspects were described as early-20's.

One was wearing a red hat and one was wearing a gray hat.

We're told no guns were brandished.
