Firefighters and first responders made three trips up and down First Place Tower, aka the ONE Gas Tower, in downtown Tulsa in full gear to represent the 110 stories of the twin towers.

The stair climb started at 8:46 a.m., the exact time the first plane hit the World Trade Center in 2001.

Tulsa Firefighter Matt Lay told KRMG every person who climbed the stairs would be carrying a badge that represented a fallen hero of 9/11.
