Traffic stop protocol missing, woman arrested

Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa police arrest a woman after a traffic stop turns violent.

Officers arrested Aaronessa Reed on Wednesday after that stop near 41st and Garnett.

Police say Reed was combative from the start.

When officers asked if she had a gun in the car, gun experts say she did something you shouldn't do if you are in the same situation.

We're told Reed snapped back at him, "Do you want to see it?"

Reed started to reach over into the side of her car.

The officer tried to detain Reed for his safety, but said she bit and scratched him.

Gun experts say you should politely tell officers that you have a gun in the car and always keep both hands in the officer's view.
