Tulsa, Okla. — The Tulsa School Board votes to table a proposal to eliminate 232 positions in the district office.
Part of the reason for the delay is the Board got new information Thursday night.
It came in the form of a description of each job before they left into another room for some discussion and the vote.
A motion was made to table the vote until next Tuesday.
We're told not all of the positions would be eliminated at one time.
Attrition would be used for custodial jobs.
142 new jobs would be created if the proposal passes.
