TPD: Trash argument preceeds car fire

Tulsa, Okla. — A man's car is set on fire after an argument.

Tulsa police say John Smith's car was set on fire by Joseph Osborne on Sunday near 31st and Sheridan.

The incident started during an argument about trash getting thrown in front of the victim's door.

Fire investigators later connected Osborne to the crime through witness statements and security video.

We're told it showed Osborne buying the gasoline said to be used in the fire.
