Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating after burglars take over a family's apartment while the family is away from home.
A neighbor at the Windsong Apartments had called the family around 9:30 p.m. Monday after noticing strangers at the apartment.
TPD Sgt. Darren Bristow said, “Some family of (the victims) arrived...when they noticed individuals had broken into the apartment (and) were living there.”
Police arrived and saw one of the suspects jump out of the second-story window. He was arrested by a police dog.
The other two suspects were arrested without incident.
We're told the suspects had been taking items from the apartment while living at the residence near 31st and Mingo.
