Teenager slams vehicle into house, tries to flee on foot

A suspect is being treated at a local hospital after crashing his vehicle into an Owasso home on Saturday.

Officers at the scene report they spotted 18-year-old Antonio Velasco driving recklessly and they tried to pull him over. A pursuit ensued until he crashed into a house near 121st Street and East 84th Street.

Velasco wasn’t done quite yet.  He tried to flee the scene on foot.

A neighbor we spoke to helped officers catch Velasco.

“I grabbed his arm and said ‘Where are you going?’” The neighbor said.  “He went down on all fours, which slowed him down enough for police coming right around the corner.  I pointed him out to them.”

The homeowner was treated at the scene.
