Teenager gets shot during alleged road rage incident

A man was taken into custody Saturday night following a suspected road rage shooting.

The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. at a parking lot near 31st and Mingo.

A police supervisor tells us the shooting suspect, Joshua Fort, was still at the scene when officers arrived. The 15-year-old male victim later showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.

“(The victim) said the incident began down the street from the shooting scene,” the supervisor said.  “The victim said they were honking their car horn at Fort. He let them pass, then followed them into the parking lot where the fight and shooting took place.”

Officers also found a controlled dangerous substance on Fort.  He has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
