One teenager is dead and another is in jail following a stabbing in Tulsa Friday night.
The incident happened around 6:44 p.m. outside of a home near East 36th and North Peoria Avenue.
Sgt. Dave Walker reports the suspect, 17-year-old Shandrick Richardson, apparently hit a 14-year-old with a handgun. He was then chased away to the home on Peoria by a group of teenage males.
“Richardson armed himself with a knife and ran outside causing a large fight,” Walker said. “Richardson stabbed the 18-year-old victim.
The victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital. His name hasn’t been released.
Richardson has been arrested for first-degree murder.
