Teen punches hotel manager in downtown Tulsa

A manager at the Holiday Inn Express at Archer and Detroit in downtown Tulsa is nursing a black eye, a bruised lip and some loose teeth, after police say a teenager punched her in the face.

We talked to Kate Buster, who says that in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday, a group of four teens forced open the front sliding doors, which were locked, and grabbed a bunch of snacks from a concession area.

She says she went outside and found them sitting on the sidewalk nearby eating the snacks.

When she confronted them, she says two ran off but that two followed her back inside the hotel.

“And one of them comes around the corner and just absolutely coldcocks me,” she said.

As she fell to the floor, she says the other teen stole her cell phone, and the two ran out of the hotel.

Police say they have a good idea who the teens are, but there’s no word if they’ve been apprehended.

We asked her what she would tell them if she had the chance.

“If they don’t get their lives on track, their lives is going the wrong way, and they’re going to end up in prison, and that’s sad, or worse, and that’s sad. They had evil in their eyes, and that’s very sad. I hate that for them,” she said.
