TCSO fires jail guard accused of smuggling weapons into jail

Tulsa, Okla. — The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office fires a jail guard who claims to have smuggled guns and knives into the jail.

A hundred law enforcement officers conducted a thorough search of the jail Thursday, checking cells and patting down inmates.

No weapons were found.

We're told the jail guard was fired because of a separate issue.

His name has not been released because no charges have been filed.
