Tahlequah Public Schools took to Facebook on Sunday, announcing that one of their teachers had died.
According to family, Teresa Horn died over the weekend after complications from COVID-19.
Horn taught school for 26 years.
The public schools system will go to distance learning for PK-12 students on Monday and Tuesday. No changes will happen for students who are learning virtually. Students will return Wednesday, September 2.
