Suspect released after shooting suspect in back yard

Tulsa, Okla. — A man is released from the Tulsa County jail and will not be charged after he shot a robbery suspect in his back yard Wednesday night.

Police say it all started with an armed robbery Wednesday near 11th and Highway 169.

We're told the same suspects ran away when a potential armed robbery victim near 41st and Lewis showed a gun.

Police spotted the suspects' car later, starting a chase that ended in a crash near 12th and Fulton where the suspects bailed.

Suspect Andrew Peyton (shown) was caught, but two others jumped a fence.

One of them was shot by a homeowner.

Police say a woman in the car got away.
