Shootout, juvenile wounded 5 times near 300 South Mingo Road

Tulsa, Okla. — A gunfight sends a juvenile to the hospital with five gunshot wounds.

A 911 caller reported hearing eight gunshots near 3rd and Mingo around 10:30 Tuesday night.

Tulsa police tell us the victim was found on the ground in a parking lot area.

The victim had been shot in the head, torso and leg.

He was taken to the hospital.

A relative of the victim said she had seen the victim and three juvenile suspects exit the apartment.

Officers were given the names of several juveniles who witnessed or heard about the shooting.

Crime scene detectives are investigating.
