Actor Lou Diamond Phillips is among seven inductees and award winners who will soon be honored at the 62nd Western Heritage Awards.
It’s happening April 14th and 15th at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
In a press release, Museum President and CEO Pat Fitzgerald said, “This event speaks to the heart of what the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is all about, honoring the past, celebrating the present, and embracing the future of the American West.”
The Western Heritage awards honors individuals who have made significant contributions to Western Heritage through creative works in literature, music, television, and film. Fitzgerald says, “we have a stellar slate of inductees and award winners this year, and its such a privilege to honor these individuals who share a commitment to the West and its unique stories.”
