Police need help identifying people after BLM street painting

Another BLM painting was removed with street resurfacing on Greenwood Ave.

TULSA — The Tulsa Police Department is hoping members of the public will come forward to identify the people in this picture from the weekend after painting BLM on the street in front of City Hall.

They are persons of interest in the malicious injury to property that occurred on Oct. 10th.

If you have information, contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.

Crews were called in quickly and were able to power wash the paint off the road.

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum says he wants the people tracked down to pay for the removal.

“It is a criminal act,” says Mayor Bynum. “We will continue to monitor different events as they arise. And if there is criminal activity, we’re going to respond to those regardless of whose doing it.”
