Police make an arrest in suspected fatal attempted robbery

TULSA — Police are still searching for the shooter from a homicide in south Tulsa early Monday morning.

Johnny Lee Dean was found at an apartment complex near 61st and Riverside with multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives did track down someone they believe is involved in the case.

Corbin Payne was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

Police believe Payne and Dean were trying to beat and rob a man who used a gun to defend himself.
