POLICE: Illegal citizen arrested for robbing woman

TULSA — Tulsa police say a woman was leaving work near 11th and Garnett Monday night when a man with a gun approached her.

She was getting into her car when a red Chevy Silverado pulled up with the lights off.

The passenger ran up to the victim and robbed her of cash and her cell phone.

The suspect then ran back to the truck and fled the scene.

Robbery detectives were then able to track down the truck and the suspect, who tried to resist arrest.

The suspect, Jose Moreno, has served time in prison, was deported, and returned to the U.S.

Officers say Moreno hid a vape pen in his rectum, which was discovered at the Tulsa County Jail.
