Police, firefighters battle each other for charity in Tulsa

It's not very often you hear about police officers and firefighters involved in a fight being a good thing.

However, that's exactly what happened Saturday night at the BOK Center. Dustin Flutcher, president of 918 Fully Involved, says firefighters and officers participated in mixed martial arts matches to raise money for charity.

“This is our fifth event,” Flutcher said.  “In the past four years we have donated over $130,000 to these charities and organizations.”

The raised money will go to Special Olympics of Oklahoma and Firefighters Burn Camp.  No word on how much was raised Saturday night.
