Tulsa Police have arrested two suspects and also identified the victim in the city’s latest homicide.
52-year-old Lionell Rivers was found shot to death in his home just after midnight on Thursday near 56th Street North and MLK Blvd.
His neighbor, Ameka Blevins, says everyone on the street is shocked and says they all liked “Mr. Lee” as they called him.
“Because he was just a happy person, he was always smiling, he was always so happy to see me and tell me about how good he was doing, and the thought of someone just doing that to him, it’s very sad,” Blevins said.
Police arrested Clearance Holmes and Stephon Thompson.
They believe that Holmes robbed and shot Rivers and that Thompson was the getaway driver.
