Oklahoma City, Okla. — You may need to carry some extra change in your car if you don't have a Pikepass.
The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is upping its rates for cash customers starting July 15.
Rates will go up by 2 point 5-percent.
The raise is the final toll increase from the Driving Forward Initiative, which began in October 2016.
Over the last three and a half years toll increases have helped pay for several projects, including an expansion of the Turner Turnpike between Bristow and Tulsa.
