Authorities are reporting a medical helicopter has crashed just a few blocks away from the hospital where it was transporting a patient this morning.
The accident happened just before 2 AM in downtown Wichita Falls.
The patient was killed in the crash.
The pilot is in serious but stable condition in the Wichita Falls hospital.
The two crew members were transferred to Parkland Hospital burn unit in Dallas and are in critical condition.
