Oklahoma lawmakers react to presidential address

Oklahoma lawmakers are offering their thoughts on President Donald Trump’s address to the nation Tuesday night.

The president speaking on the issue of border security and the government shutdown.

Senator James Lankford called the KRMG Morning News Wednesday to say he thought President Trump gave a common sense statement.

“He focused a lot on technology and tried to open up the lens for everyone to be able to see  this is not just about fencing.” Lankford said. “This could really be solved in 45 minutes, as the president said last night... We just don’t seem that far away.”
